Getting a person to express how they truly feel can sometimes be an anti-climactic event — but one I nonetheless prefer to a situation in which people remain deluded by myths

For example: Getting someone to acknowledge that the reason they use so-called “free” internet services is that they are both a cheapskate and also that they also don’t really believe in themselves is better than if that person actually thought these services were worth what they are paying for them (namely being spied upon by the government and industry too).
